This is one of many homes that have survived in Bodie, CA. Bodie is the largest preserved gold rush town in the country and is a CA state park. In many buildings there are still dishes on the tables and clothes hanging on hooks. There are about 100 buildings still standing in a "state of arrested decay". It's an amazing place with years and years of dust.

Crystal is a Kansas City area photographer. She has been taking photographs since she got her first Instamatic camera. She also has attended numerous photography classes, seminars and workshops given by local and nationally known photographers. Crystal likes to shoot many different subjects. She feels that photographs are very personal and keeps variety in her work to appeal to a wider audience. She belongs to Kansas City Artists Coalition, Lawrence Art Guild, Johnson County Camera Club, Digital Dimensions, Wyandotte Camera Club and the Kansas City Zoo Photography Club.
